A prestigious international law firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join its highly regarded Intellectual Property, Technology & Data practice in New York or San Francisco. This opportunity offers exposure to sophisticated, technology-driven transactions and advisory matters, with a particular emphasis on artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. The successful candidate will join a close-knit, collaborative team advising leading global clients on complex IP and technology matters, benefiting from meaningful responsibility, direct partner interaction and a strong commitment to professional development.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in intellectual property and technology transactions, including IP licensing, technology agreements, R&D collaborations, data-sharing arrangements and IP aspects of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. Experience advising on AI-related transactions, IP ownership restructuring, commercial settlements and technology-intensive corporate transactions is particularly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate strong drafting and negotiation skills, commercial awareness and the ability to advise on complex intellectual property issues. Additional experience in data privacy, capital markets or debt finance transactions would be advantageous but is not essential.

Excellent academic credentials and admission to the New York or California Bar are required. Prior experience within a leading international or national law firm, particularly involving sophisticated technology transactions or AI-related advisory work, is highly desirable.
