A leading international law firm is seeking a talented mid-level Finance Associate to join its sophisticated finance practice. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who thrives in complex transactional environments and is looking to work on high-profile domestic and cross-border financing matters alongside a collaborative and highly regarded team.
The practice advises lenders, borrowers, private equity sponsors, investment banks, commercial banks, private credit providers, and institutional market participants on a broad range of financing transactions. Associates will gain hands-on experience representing clients in acquisition financings, syndicated credit facilities, reserve-based lending, asset-based lending, bridge loans, secured and unsecured term lending, working capital facilities, and high-yield debt offerings.
This role offers substantial client interaction, meaningful responsibility, and exposure to sophisticated transactions across industries including energy, infrastructure, financial services, and private equity. Attorneys will work closely with experienced partners in a fast-paced environment that values initiative, collaboration, and professional development.
Qualified candidates should possess:
- A JD from an accredited law school
- Previous experience working in a law firm
- 3–6 years of substantive finance experience
- Experience handling syndicated lending, acquisition financings, asset-based lending, reserve-based lending, or other secured finance transactions
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
- The ability to manage multiple matters effectively in a deadline-driven environment
- Admission to the Texas Bar or eligibility to waive into or sit for the Texas Bar
