A highly respected and growth-oriented law firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney to join its expanding transactional practice at the member level. This position offers the chance to work alongside accomplished attorneys on complex and high-value real estate matters while helping shape the continued growth of the practice group. The firm represents a diverse client base ranging from closely held businesses to large corporate entities and developers, offering attorneys exposure to a broad range of sophisticated transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Advise clients on a wide range of transactional real estate matters.
Structure, draft, and negotiate complex real estate agreements and financing documents.
Lead client relationships and contribute to strategic business development initiatives.
Collaborate across practice groups to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
Mentor and develop junior attorneys within the team.
Support the continued expansion and long-term success of the real estate practice.

Qualifications

JD required.
Minimum of 6 years of experience practicing transactional real estate law within a law firm environment.
Strong drafting, negotiation, and client counseling skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage sophisticated matters independently.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Admission to the Iowa Bar, or eligibility for admission by waiver.

Preferred Experience

Tax credit and government incentive transactions.
Construction contracts and subcontract negotiations.
Real estate financing and lending documentation.
