Location: Miami, FL
A leading international law firm is seeking 2nd-4th year Associates to join its Product Liability & Mass Torts practice in Miami.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded trial practice handling significant individual, multidistrict, mass tort and class action litigation for major product manufacturers. Associates work within lean trial teams, providing early substantive responsibility and meaningful exposure to complex matters in federal and state courts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle complex product liability and mass tort litigation
- Work on individual, multidistrict and class action matters
- Represent product manufacturers across a broad range of industries
- Draft substantive motions, briefs and other litigation documents
- Conduct complex legal research and analysis
- Assist with discovery, depositions and trial preparation
- Contribute to case strategy alongside partners and senior litigators
- Take early and meaningful responsibility on leanly staffed trial teams
- Work on significant matters in federal and state courts
Who You Are:
- 2nd-4th year Associate
- Complex litigation experience at a large law firm
- Demonstrated interest in developing a tort-focused litigation practice
- Prior product liability, mass tort or other tort litigation experience is advantageous, but not required
- Outstanding academic credentials
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Excellent oral advocacy skills
- Interested in developing sophisticated litigation and trial experience
- Local Bar admission required
