An elite law firm is seeking a seasoned Non-Equity Partner Attorney to join its New York office and play a leading role in a high-value, sophisticated finance practice. This is an opportunity for an accomplished attorney to step into a platform where complex transactions, strategic client counseling, and meaningful practice leadership are central to the role.
The successful candidate will be expected to originate, lead, and manage complex financing matters spanning a broad range of domestic and cross-border transactions. This position is well suited to a lawyer who combines strong technical judgment with commercial awareness, leadership credibility, and a proven ability to guide clients through intricate financing structures and pivotal business decisions.
In this role, you will advise on a wide variety of transactions, including leveraged financings, investment grade financings, asset-based loans, bridge financings, debtor-in-possession financings, restructurings, and recapitalizations. You will also take the lead in negotiating and structuring key transaction documents, overseeing diligence processes, identifying and assessing risk, and delivering practical, business-focused counsel on high-stakes matters. A strong command of fatal flaw analysis and the ability to anticipate issues before they arise will be highly valued.

Candidates should bring:
- A JD and previous experience working in a law firm
- At least 8 years of experience handling sophisticated U.S. and international financing transactions
- A strong background in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad suite of financing and transactional documents
- Demonstrated experience supervising diligence, structuring deal terms, and advising on transaction risk
- Admission to practice law in New York
