A sophisticated and fast-growing transactional practice is seeking a Mid-Level Corporate M&A Associate to join its deal-focused team. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney looking to build on strong mergers and acquisitions experience while advising a diverse client base on complex strategic transactions.
The role will focus on representing public and private companies, private equity sponsors, and portfolio companies in a wide range of corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and other strategic commercial matters. Attorneys in this position will take on meaningful responsibility in transaction execution and client advisory work, with significant exposure to sophisticated deal structures.
The successful candidate will be deeply involved in drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements and related transaction documents, including stock purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements, merger agreements, and ancillary deal documentation. The role also includes advising clients on corporate governance matters, entity management, and day-to-day corporate legal issues.

Candidate Requirements:
- JD required
- Must have prior experience working in a law firm
- 3–4 years of corporate M&A transactional experience
- Strong experience representing public and private companies, private equity funds, and portfolio companies
- Extensive experience drafting and negotiating acquisition and transaction documents
- Experience with corporate governance and general corporate advisory matters
- Strong due diligence management and transaction coordination skills
- Excellent communication, drafting, and client-management abilities
- Strong academic credentials
- Admission to the applicable bar (or eligibility for admission) required
