Location: Washington, DC
A leading global law firm is seeking a 2nd-4th year Litigation Associate to join its Washington, DC office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a sophisticated litigation practice handling complex commercial disputes for major clients.
The successful candidate will work alongside experienced litigators on high-level commercial matters, with significant opportunities for responsibility, professional development and long-term career progression. Current judicial clerks are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in complex commercial litigation matters
- Conduct sophisticated legal research and analysis
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs and other substantive legal filings
- Assist with fact development and discovery
- Prepare for depositions, hearings and trial proceedings
- Develop litigation strategies alongside partners and senior attorneys
- Work closely with clients on sophisticated commercial disputes
- Collaborate with attorneys across a leading global litigation platform
Who You Are:
- 2nd-4th year associate
- Complex commercial litigation experience required
- Outstanding academic credentials from a top-tier law school
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Excellent analytical and communication abilities
- Current judicial clerks are encouraged to apply
- Active DC Bar membership required
Compensation:
Salary Range: $245,000 – $320,000 based on class year and experience
