Location: Chicago, IL
A premier global law firm is seeking a 1-6 year Litigation Associate to join its Chicago office. This is an excellent opportunity to join an elite litigation practice handling sophisticated, high-value disputes for leading clients across a broad range of industries.
The successful candidate will work alongside highly regarded litigators on complex matters while gaining significant responsibility, exposure to sophisticated work and excellent opportunities for long-term career development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in sophisticated litigation matters
- Conduct complex legal research and analysis
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs and other substantive legal filings
- Assist with discovery, depositions and case strategy
- Prepare for hearings, court proceedings and trials
- Work closely with partners and senior attorneys on complex disputes
- Take increasing responsibility for matters as experience develops
- Collaborate with attorneys across a leading national litigation platform
Who You Are:
- 1-6 years of litigation experience
- Strong litigation experience gained within a law firm environment
- Excellent legal research and writing skills
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively on sophisticated and fast-paced matters
- Active Illinois Bar admission
Compensation:
Salary Range: $225,000 – $390,000 (DOE)
