A leading global law firm is seeking a Senior Associate with approximately 5 years of international disputes experience to join its International Arbitration practice in Miami. This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge, complex and high-stakes international disputes within a highly regarded arbitration team.
The successful candidate will work on sophisticated, bet-the-company litigation and arbitration matters, including high-profile and public disputes, while advising senior client management teams on both the practical and strategic aspects of international disputes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in complex international arbitration and dispute matters
- Develop and execute strategies across high-stakes international disputes
- Draft substantive submissions, briefs and other legal documents
- Advise sophisticated client management teams on strategic and practical issues
- Assist with negotiations arising from complex international disputes
- Work on high-profile and publicly sensitive matters
- Collaborate closely with partners and attorneys across the international arbitration practice
- Manage sophisticated matters with significant attention to detail
Who You Are:
- Approximately 5 years of international disputes experience
- Strong experience with the practical and strategic aspects of international disputes
- Excellent legal writing and negotiating skills
- Outstanding academic credentials and professional experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working directly with sophisticated client management teams
- Collegial and collaborative approach
- Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active membership of a US Bar
Compensation:
Salary Range: $390,000 – $435,000 (DOE)
Eligible attorneys may also receive annual performance and discretionary bonuses.
