An outstanding opportunity is available for a talented mid-level Corporate Associate to join a highly regarded corporate practice advising a broad range of public and private companies, investors, private equity funds, venture capital funds, founders, and emerging growth businesses.
This role offers exposure to sophisticated domestic and cross-border transactions while working alongside experienced practitioners on complex corporate matters. It is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious attorney looking to deepen their transactional experience and build long-term client relationships within a collaborative and growth-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, and other strategic commercial transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate acquisition agreements and related transaction documentation.
- Counsel clients on corporate governance and securities matters.
- Work closely with founders, investors, private equity and venture capital funds, and established businesses across a variety of industries.
- Manage multiple transactions while collaborating with colleagues and maintaining exceptional client service.
Candidate Profile
- 2–5 years of corporate transactional experience gained within a law firm.
- Strong experience handling mergers and acquisitions, venture capital transactions, and general corporate matters.
- Demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate sophisticated transaction documents.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills with strong commercial judgment.
- Ability to manage client relationships and work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school is required.
- Previous experience working in a law firm is required.
- Licensed, or eligible to become licensed, in the relevant jurisdiction prior to joining.
