A leading international law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate with 4-6 years of commercial litigation experience to join its Business & Tort Litigation practice in Dallas.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and growing litigation team, handling sophisticated disputes while benefiting from substantial client interaction, significant responsibility and a collaborative working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle complex commercial and business litigation
- Conduct sophisticated legal research and analysis
- Draft motions, briefs and other substantive litigation documents
- Assist with discovery and case preparation
- Contribute to litigation strategy
- Work on depositions, hearings and trials where appropriate
- Manage significant case responsibilities
- Work directly with clients and experienced litigators
Who You Are
- 4-6 years of commercial litigation experience
- Excellent academic credentials
- Strong legal research, writing and analytical skills
- Deposition, hearing and trial experience preferred
- Comfortable taking significant responsibility
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Able to work effectively within a collaborative litigation team
