A highly regarded law firm is seeking a senior Trusts & Estates attorney to join its Taxation, Trusts & Estates Department in Los Angeles. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated estate planning and trust administration matters for high net worth individuals and families.
The role offers exposure to complex planning strategies within a collaborative and well-established private client practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise high net worth individuals and families on estate planning strategies
- Draft sophisticated estate planning documents, including revocable and irrevocable trusts
- Manage trust administration matters from start to finish
- Provide guidance on wealth transfer and tax-efficient planning structures
- Work closely with clients to develop tailored estate planning solutions
Who You Are:
- 10+ years of Trusts & Estates experience
- Strong experience in trust administration and estate planning
- Experience drafting complex estate planning documents
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills
- Large law firm experience preferred
- LL.M. in Taxation preferred
- Admitted to the California Bar
Compensation:
Base Salary: $275,000 – $325,000 (DOE)
Total Compensation: Up to ~$475,000+ including discretionary bonus
Additional: Origination-based bonus opportunities
