A leading international law firm is seeking a Counsel to join its Tax practice in New York. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-value transactional tax matters, with a strong focus on leveraged finance and capital markets transactions.

The role offers exposure to sophisticated deal work within a highly regarded and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on transactional tax matters across leveraged finance and capital markets deals
  • Structure and support complex financing transactions
  • Draft and negotiate tax provisions in transaction documents
  • Provide strategic tax advice to clients on sophisticated transactions
  • Work closely with corporate and finance teams on deal execution

Who You Are:

  • Counsel-level attorney with significant transactional tax experience
  • Strong experience in leveraged finance and capital markets transactions
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage complex matters and work directly with clients
  • Admitted to the New York Bar

Compensation:
Salary Range: $450,000 – $600,000 (DOE)
