Location: Miami, FL
A leading global law firm is seeking a senior-level Associate to join its Trial and Litigation practice in Miami. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated commercial litigation and arbitration matters, including high-stakes trials and final hearings.
Associates will gain exposure to complex, multi-jurisdictional disputes within a collaborative and high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in complex commercial litigation and arbitration matters
- Draft pleadings, motions and substantive briefs
- Manage traditional and electronic discovery processes
- Prepare for and participate in trials, hearings and arbitrations
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
- Appear before state and federal courts
Who You Are:
- 6+ years of commercial litigation and/or arbitration experience
- Strong experience with trials and/or final hearings
- Excellent academic credentials (top-tier law school preferred)
- Exceptional research, writing and oral advocacy skills
- Strong experience managing discovery processes
- Self-starter with strong analytical and strategic thinking ability
- Federal clerkship experience and/or interest in international disputes is a plus
- Fluency in Spanish preferred but not required
- Admitted to the Florida Bar or eligible for admission
