Location: New York, NY
A leading global law firm is seeking a 3rd–5th year Associate to join its Securities Litigation and M&A Litigation practice. This is an opportunity to work on some of the most complex and high-stakes disputes in the market, including securities class actions, derivative litigation, M&A disputes and regulatory enforcement matters.
The team represents Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions and boards of directors in high-profile litigation across federal and state courts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in securities class actions, stockholder derivative suits and M&A litigation
- Draft motions, briefs and substantive pleadings in complex disputes
- Support SEC and regulatory enforcement matters and investigations
- Assist with internal investigations and corporate governance disputes
- Work on matters involving fiduciary duty claims, appraisal actions and post-closing disputes
- Support trial preparation and high-stakes litigation strategy
Who You Are:
- 2–5 years of securities litigation experience
- Experience with complex commercial or corporate litigation preferred
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent writing, analytical and advocacy skills
- Experience in a leading law firm environment preferred
- Admitted to practice in New York or eligible for admission
Compensation:
Salary: $260,000 – $365,000 DOE
