A leading global law firm is seeking a 3–5 year Associate to join its Restructuring & Insolvency group in Miami or New York. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated in-court Chapter 11 proceedings and complex out-of-court restructurings within a highly collaborative and internationally integrated team.

Associates will gain exposure to cross-border matters and high-profile restructuring engagements across a broad range of industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in Chapter 11 proceedings and bankruptcy litigation matters

• Advise on out-of-court restructurings and distressed situations

• Draft motions, pleadings and restructuring-related documentation

• Support strategic negotiations with creditors, debtors and other stakeholders

• Collaborate with cross-border teams on global insolvency matters

Who You Are:

• 3–5 years of restructuring and insolvency experience

• Experience with in-court Chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings

• Bankruptcy clerkship experience preferred

• Strong academic credentials

• Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively within a global and culturally diverse team

• Admitted and in good standing with the Florida or New York Bar

Compensation:
Salary Range: $260,000 – $365,000 (DOE)
