An elite international law firm is seeking a mid to senior-level Private Funds Associate to join its rapidly growing Investment Funds group. This opportunity is open in multiple offices, with a particular focus on Chicago, New York, and DC.

About the Role

Work directly with top-tier fund sponsors on a wide range of private investment vehicles, including private equity, venture capital, real estate, and credit funds. The role offers immediate responsibility, partner access, and an excellent platform to grow in a highly collaborative and sophisticated practice.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 4–7+ years of experience in private investment fund formation

• Strong knowledge of structuring, drafting, and negotiating fund documents and LPAs

• Experience advising fund managers on compliance, regulatory filings, and investor communications

• Exposure to Small Business Investment Company (SBIC) licensing is strongly preferred

• Familiarity with private offering memoranda and marketing documentation

• JD from an accredited law school; licensed in the jurisdiction of preferred office
