An established, nationally respected corporate practice is seeking a mid-level Associate to join its Mergers & Acquisitions group in Fort Lauderdale. The Opportunity
You will work on complex domestic and cross-border transactions for a diverse client base across industries such as healthcare, technology, infrastructure, financial services, hospitality, and consumer products. The practice offers meaningful client interaction, direct partner collaboration, and the chance to take ownership of significant portions of deals while continuing to refine your technical and strategic skills.
Key Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate core transaction documents, including LOIs, asset and stock purchase agreements, and merger agreements

Manage and coordinate due diligence processes, including review of contracts, corporate records, and regulatory materials

Collaborate with colleagues across tax, regulatory, finance, and litigation disciplines on transaction-related issues

Participate in client meetings and calls, providing thoughtful analysis and practical solutions

Support deal closings, including preparation of closing deliverables and post-closing matters
What We’re Looking For
-
J.D. from an accredited law school
-
Admission to the Florida Bar (or willingness to obtain admission promptly)
-
4–6 years of substantive M&A and general corporate experience at a law firm
-
Strong drafting, negotiation, and project management skills
-
Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced, team-oriented practice
-
Confidence working directly with clients and senior attorneys
