Mass Tort & Product Liability Associate
Location: Multiple Offices
A national law firm is seeking a 4th–5th year Associate to join its Mass Tort & Product Liability practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated litigation matters involving mass torts, product liability disputes and other complex claims as part of a collaborative team environment.
The ideal candidate will have broad litigation experience, strong writing abilities and an interest in developing a practice focused on high-exposure product liability and mass tort matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the defence of mass tort and product liability matters through all phases of litigation
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs and other substantive legal filings
- Conduct legal research and analyse complex litigation issues
- Assist with discovery strategy and case management responsibilities
- Collaborate with colleagues on sophisticated, multi-party litigation matters
- Communicate effectively with clients and litigation teams to develop practical solutions
- Contribute to trial preparation and other pre-trial activities
Who You Are:
- 4th–5th year associate
- General litigation experience required
- Exposure to mass tort and product liability litigation preferred
- Insurance defence experience is a plus
- Construction litigation experience is a plus
- Excellent academic credentials
- Strong writing and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Demonstrated commitment to client service
- Florida Bar admission preferred
Compensation:
Salary Range: $155,000 – $200,000 (depending on location and experience)
