Location: Atlanta, GA
A leading international law firm is seeking a 2nd–5th year Associate to join its Litigation practice in Atlanta. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, multi-faceted litigation team handling sophisticated disputes across a broad range of industries and subject matters.
The role offers significant hands-on experience across all phases of litigation, including motion practice, depositions, discovery, hearings and trial preparation, within a highly collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle complex litigation matters in state and federal courts
- Draft substantive motions, briefs and legal memoranda
- Conduct legal research and case analysis
- Take and defend depositions
- Manage discovery in sophisticated litigation matters
- Prepare cases for evidentiary hearings and trial
- Support litigation strategy and client counselling throughout the life cycle of a dispute
- Work closely with clients and senior litigators on high-stakes matters
Who You Are:
- 2nd–5th year associate
- Experience drafting motions to dismiss, summary judgment motions, motions in limine and other substantive filings
- Experience taking and defending depositions
- Experience handling discovery in complex matters
- Experience preparing cases for trial
- Exposure to evidentiary hearings and/or trial proceedings
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Admitted to the Georgia Bar
Compensation:
Salary Range: $235,000 – $310,000 (DOE)
