Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

A leading global law firm is seeking a 3rd–5th year Associate to join its Litigation practice in Fort Lauderdale. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-stakes commercial disputes alongside nationally recognised litigators within one of the country’s premier litigation platforms.

The role offers broad exposure to complex business disputes across a variety of industries, significant client contact and the opportunity to take ownership of matters from an early stage.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and support all phases of complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts
Draft and argue substantive motions, including dispositive motions
Conduct and defend fact and expert witness depositions
Lead written discovery and e-discovery processes
Prepare for and participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations and trials
Develop litigation strategy and provide practical business-focused advice to clients
Work closely with clients and litigation teams on sophisticated disputes

Who You Are:

3rd–5th year associate
Experience in complex commercial litigation
Experience in state and federal court proceedings
Strong research, writing and oral advocacy skills
Experience managing multiple matters and taking ownership of cases
Excellent academic credentials
Strong attention to detail and strategic thinking skills
Federal judicial clerkship experience is a plus
Admitted to the Florida Bar or eligible for prompt admission
