Litigation Associate
Location: New York, NY
A leading international law firm is seeking a 4th–5th year Associate to join its General Litigation practice in New York. This role offers the opportunity to work across all phases of complex litigation within a fast-paced and high-performing team.
Associates will take on significant responsibility in managing sophisticated disputes while developing strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all phases of litigation, from investigation through trial and settlement
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs and settlement agreements
- Manage discovery processes, including preparing witnesses for depositions
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Coordinate filings and procedural aspects of litigation
- Support case strategy and trial preparation
- Develop and maintain client relationships
Who You Are:
- 4–5 years of litigation experience
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent research, writing, analytical and advocacy skills
- Experience managing all aspects of discovery and motion practice
- Strong organisational and case management abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience at an Am Law 100 firm preferred
- Admitted to the New York Bar
Compensation:
Salary Range: $310,000 – $365,000 (DOE)
