Location: Newport Beach, CA
A leading national law firm is seeking a 5+ year Associate to join its Litigation practice in Newport Beach. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex commercial disputes within a collegial and high-performing team, with strong prospects for professional growth and advancement.
Associates will take on meaningful responsibility across all phases of litigation while working closely with experienced litigators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in complex commercial litigation matters
- Draft and argue motions and substantive pleadings
- Take and defend depositions, including key witnesses
- Manage e-discovery processes and document review
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Support case strategy and trial preparation
- Work directly with clients on litigation matters
Who You Are:
- 5+ years of commercial litigation experience
- Strong experience with motion practice, depositions and discovery
- Excellent academic credentials
- Strong research, writing and analytical skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple matters independently
- Admitted to the California Bar
Compensation:
Salary Range: $365,000 – $435,000 (DOE)
