Labor & Employment Litigation Associate
Location: Orlando, FL
A nationally recognised Labor & Employment practice is seeking an experienced associate to join its Orlando office. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a top-tier team advising leading employers on high-stakes employment litigation and complex workplace issues, while continuing to develop both litigation and advisory expertise in a collaborative, high-quality environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Defend employers in complex employment litigation in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies, including the EEOC and Department of Labor.

Advise clients on a wide range of employment matters, including discrimination and harassment, wage and hour compliance, leave entitlements, hiring and termination, discipline, whistleblowing, and employment and severance agreements.

Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery (including e-discovery), motion practice, and oral advocacy.

Work on wage and hour collective actions and employment class actions.

Take and defend depositions and support hearings and trial preparation.

Collaborate closely with partners and colleagues in a team-oriented practice.
Who You Are:
-
4–7 years of labor and employment experience in a law firm environment.

Strong background defending employers in high-stakes litigation.
-
Excellent academic credentials with outstanding research, writing, and advocacy skills.
-
Detail-oriented, commercially minded, and confident managing matters independently.
-
Prior AmLaw experience is advantageous.

Admitted to practice in Florida (required).
