A leading, top-tier Labor & Employment platform is seeking a mid-to-senior level associate to join its Traditional Labor practice in New York. This role is ideal for an attorney with a strong grounding in union-side or management-side traditional labor matters who is interested in playing a meaningful role in the continued growth of a sophisticated practice.
The position offers significant responsibility, exposure to complex labor matters, and the opportunity to help shape and expand the group alongside senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:

Advise employers on traditional labor matters, including union relations and collective bargaining.

Represent clients in labor disputes, grievances, and related proceedings.

Support strategy and execution across complex labor matters.

Work closely with partners on practice development and client expansion initiatives.

Collaborate with colleagues across employment and litigation teams as needed.
Who You Are:
-
Mid-to-senior level associate (Class Years 2018–2021).

Substantial experience in traditional labor law.

Strong academic credentials with excellent writing and analytical skills.

Commercially minded and interested in helping grow a labor practice.

Admitted to practice in New York (required).
Compensation:
-
Salary Range: $310,000 – $420,000 DOE
