Employment Litigation Associate
Location: Seattle, WA
A leading global law firm is seeking a 3rd–6th year Associate to join its Employment Litigation group in Seattle. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile employment disputes, including single plaintiff cases, systemic discrimination matters and wage and hour class actions, within a dynamic and nationally recognised practice.
Associates will gain hands-on experience managing complex matters and working directly with corporate clients on cutting-edge employment issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in employment litigation matters, including class actions and discrimination claims
- Respond to administrative charges and support regulatory proceedings
- Conduct internal investigations and advise on employment compliance matters
- Draft pleadings, motions and substantive briefs
- Take and defend depositions and appear at hearings
- Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations
- Manage key aspects of litigation strategy and case development
Who You Are:
- 3–6 years of litigation experience (employment experience preferred)
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent writing, analytical and communication skills
- Experience taking depositions and handling substantive litigation tasks
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team
- Admitted to the Washington State Bar
Compensation:
Salary Range: $260,000 – $390,000 (DOE)
