A top-tier global law firm is seeking a high-performing employment associate to join its Los Angeles Employment Practice. This is a fast-paced, high-calibre platform for associates who thrive in demanding environments and want to work on sophisticated, market-leading employment matters.

The role offers exposure to complex California employment litigation alongside advisory work for major employers, with strong mentorship and clear long-term progression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise and defend employers in wage and hour class actions and PAGA matters.

• Handle single-plaintiff employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims.

• Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs in state and federal court.

• Support case strategy, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.

• Work closely with partners on high-profile, high-stakes matters.

Who You Are:

• 2 years of California employment law experience (litigation and advisory).

• Exposure to wage and hour, PAGA, and employment discrimination matters.

• Strong academic credentials with excellent writing and analytical skills.

• Comfortable operating in a demanding, high-performance environment.

• Admitted to practice in California (required).

• Experience with non-compete, trade secrets, or traditional labour matters is a plus.

Compensation:

• Salary: $225,000–$260,000
