Corporate & Securities Partner

Corporate & Securities Partner – Cross-Border M&A and Technology Transactions

A globally respected law firm is seeking a Corporate & Securities Partner to join its New York-based platform. This opportunity is tailored for a senior dealmaker with deep experience leading complex domestic and international transactions, particularly within technology-driven industries.

This is a strategic growth role for a partner ready to expand an already sophisticated practice advising private equity sponsors, family offices, and strategic investors across high-growth and innovation-focused sectors.

The Opportunity

You will lead headline-making mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and minority investments across the financial services, life sciences, media, telecommunications, and technology sectors — with a particular focus on artificial intelligence, supercomputing, and digital infrastructure.

The platform offers full integration across global offices and complementary practices, enabling seamless execution of multi-jurisdictional transactions. You will collaborate with top-tier tax, IP, regulatory, and data privacy teams to deliver comprehensive, business-driven solutions.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead complex cross-border M&A transactions and strategic investments

  • Advise on joint ventures, minority investments, and late-stage growth transactions

  • Counsel private equity sponsors, family offices, and strategic acquirers

  • Structure and negotiate commercial agreements in technology-forward industries

  • Address tax structuring considerations at both the transaction and fund level

  • Oversee and mentor associates and deal teams

  • Drive client development initiatives and expand market presence

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in sophisticated corporate transactions

  • Significant experience advising on cross-border M&A involving AI, digital infrastructure, supercomputing, or advanced technology sectors

  • A JD and previous experience working in a law firm

  • Admission to practice in New York or another U.S. jurisdiction

  • A strong record of coordinating global legal teams on multi-jurisdictional matters

  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex commercial agreements involving data privacy and IP considerations

  • Established client relationships or a credible path to portable business

Compensation & Platform

The anticipated compensation range for this role is $420,000 – $1,000,000, commensurate with experience, book of business, and overall contribution. The firm offers a highly competitive compensation structure and the infrastructure of a premier global platform to support continued practice growth.

Flexible work arrangements, including part-time telecommuting, may be available.

Why This Role Stands Out

This position offers the opportunity to operate at the forefront of next-generation industries — advising on transactions that shape the future of AI, digital infrastructure, and emerging technologies. The platform provides international reach, deep sector knowledge, and the resources necessary to scale a sophisticated cross-border practice.

If you are a partner seeking broader global integration, high-value deal flow, and a platform designed to support ambitious growth, this opportunity delivers both scope and stature.
