A leading international law firm is seeking a talented Corporate M&A Associate to join its highly regarded Corporate practice in Austin, Dallas, or Houston. This is a compelling opportunity for a driven attorney with significant transactional experience to work on sophisticated deals alongside some of the most respected practitioners in the field. Salary $260k-$390k.

The Opportunity
You’ll play a pivotal role in high-value mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other complex corporate transactions for a diverse client base that includes both public and private companies. From day one, you’ll have meaningful client contact and the opportunity to lead key workstreams, supported by a collaborative, growth-oriented team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute M&A transactions from structuring through closing.

  • Draft and negotiate principal transaction documents with precision and commercial awareness.

  • Supervise and mentor junior associates, ensuring efficient and effective deal execution.

  • Advise clients on corporate governance and day-to-day corporate matters.

  • Partner closely with clients and colleagues to provide strategic, business-minded legal counsel.

About You

  • J.D. from a top-tier law school with strong academic performance.

  • 4–7 years of corporate transactional experience, with a primary focus on M&A.

  • Skilled at managing complex deal processes and mentoring junior team members.

  • Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Admission to practice in Texas (or eligibility to waive in).
