Construction Litigation Associate
Location: Orlando, FL (other Florida offices considered)
A nationally recognised Am Law 100 firm is seeking an experienced associate to join its Construction Law & Litigation group in Florida, ideally in the Orlando office. The team advises on major infrastructure projects, large-scale dispute resolution, risk management, and construction-related claims, offering the opportunity to work on complex matters within a collaborative and expanding practice.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage complex construction and commercial disputes from initial assessment through resolution.

Conduct claims analysis and advise on procurement, contracting, and risk management issues.

Draft motions, briefs, and discovery materials, including dispositive motions.

Take and defend depositions of key fact and expert witnesses.

Participate in mediation, arbitration, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.

Assist with trial preparation and, where applicable, participate in trial proceedings.
Who You Are:

4+ years of construction or commercial litigation experience with the ability to run cases independently.

Strong deposition experience and exposure to expert witness preparation.

Experience in mediation, arbitration, and other dispute resolution processes; trial experience is a plus.

Strong academic credentials with a practical, solutions-driven approach to litigation.

Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.

Member of the Florida Bar (required).
