A leading global law firm is seeking a 3–5 year Associate to join its Complex Litigation & Advisement practice. This role focuses on high-stakes consumer class action defence, representing major companies across industries including technology, pharmaceuticals, financial services and consumer products.
Associates will work on matters that directly impact clients’ business models, brand reputation and bottom line.
Key Responsibilities:
- Defend clients in consumer class actions, including false advertising, product defect and breach of warranty claims
- Draft and argue motions, including class certification and summary judgment briefs
- Manage all phases of litigation, including discovery and e-discovery
- Conduct depositions, expert interviews and support oral arguments
- Prepare pleadings, correspondence and legal memoranda
- Support case strategy and client communications on complex disputes
Who You Are:
- 3–5 years of complex litigation experience
- Experience with consumer class action defence required
- Familiarity with California Unfair Competition Law preferred
- Strong experience drafting briefs and managing discovery processes
- Excellent writing, analytical and advocacy skills
- Strong case management and organisational abilities
- Team-oriented with a high level of motivation
- Admitted to practice in California, New York or Washington
Compensation:
Salary Range: $260,000 – $365,000 (DOE)
