Location: Boston, MA

A leading global law firm is seeking a 5th–7th year Associate to join its Complex Business Litigation practice in Boston. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on high-profile disputes for sophisticated clients alongside nationally recognised trial lawyers within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

The role offers significant responsibility, meaningful client contact and exposure to complex commercial litigation matters spanning multiple industries and jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage sophisticated business disputes in state and federal courts
• Handle all phases of complex litigation, from case inception through trial preparation
• Draft dispositive motions, discovery motions, briefs and other substantive filings
• Conduct legal research and develop strategic litigation positions
• Manage factual development and written discovery processes
• Conduct and defend depositions, including coordinating expert discovery
• Prepare cases for trial and support courtroom proceedings
• Coordinate large-scale document reviews and address eDiscovery issues
• Work directly with clients to provide practical, business-focused legal advice
• Collaborate effectively within leanly staffed litigation teams

Who You Are:

• 5th–7th year associate
• Significant experience handling complex commercial litigation matters
• Experience involving breach of contract disputes, business torts, fiduciary duty claims, bankruptcy litigation, securities matters and/or regulatory investigations
• Strong motion practice and brief-writing experience
• Experience managing written discovery, depositions and expert discovery
• Trial preparation experience
• Experience with eDiscovery issues and large-scale document productions
• Strong project management skills and sound judgement
• Exceptional legal research, analytical and writing abilities
• Experience at a top law firm with a nationally recognised litigation practice strongly preferred
• Federal district court or appellate clerkship experience preferred
• Outstanding academic credentials
• Admitted to the Massachusetts Bar or eligible for prompt admission

Compensation:
Salary Range: $310,000 – $420,000 (DOE)
