Location: Los Angeles, CA
A national law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Senior Associate (6+ years) or Senior Counsel (10+ years) to join its Los Angeles or Oakland office. This role offers the opportunity to lead sophisticated commercial litigation matters within a dynamic and growing practice, working closely with the firm’s Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit.
The position is ideal for an experienced litigator comfortable serving as the firm’s courtroom presence and managing complex disputes from investigation through resolution.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts

Conduct factual investigations and oversee discovery processes

Draft pleadings, motions and substantive briefs

Take and defend depositions

Appear in hearings, conferences and procedural matters as lead counsel presence

Manage settlement negotiations and client communications

Handle administrative proceedings and arbitration matters

Support disputes involving technology, manufacturing and transportation sectors
Who You Are:
-
Senior Associate with 6+ years or Senior Counsel with 10+ years of commercial litigation experience

Strong command of courtroom practice and procedural advocacy
-
Experience managing cases independently and handling multiple matters simultaneously

Excellent academic credentials

Exceptional judgment and strategic thinking ability

Strong written and oral communication skills
-
Active California Bar admission and eligibility to appear in state and federal courts
Experience with automotive-related matters is advantageous but not required.
Compensation:
Salary Range (California): $200,000 – $300,000 (DOE)
