Location: Portland, OR
A leading international law firm is seeking a 3rd–5th year Associate to join its Litigation practice in Portland. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex commercial disputes within a highly collaborative and well-regarded team.
The role offers exposure to sophisticated litigation matters across federal and state courts, with the opportunity to work closely with experienced practitioners at both a local and national level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in complex commercial and civil litigation matters
- Draft pleadings, motions and substantive briefs
- Manage discovery processes, including e-discovery
- Support case strategy and trial preparation
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Work closely with clients and senior lawyers on high-value disputes
Who You Are:
- 3rd–5th year associate
- Experience in civil or complex commercial litigation
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent research, writing and advocacy skills
- Judicial clerkship experience encouraged
- Experience with large-scale litigation and e-discovery is a plus
- Strong work ethic and commitment to professional excellence
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Compensation:
Salary Range: $260,000 – $365,000 (DOE)
