Commercial Contracts Attorney – Income Principal

An Am Law 200 law firm is seeking a Commercial Contracts Attorney (Income Principal level) with at least 7+ years of experience and a portable book of business to join its Business Group in Washington, D.C., New York, Seattle, Spokane, or Portland.

Position Highlights:

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior attorney who thrives on negotiating and drafting commercial contracts across a range of industries—particularly consumer goods and consumer products.

You’ll work directly with regional and national business clients on matters such as:

  • Manufacturing Agreements

  • Distribution Agreements

  • Sales Broker Agreements

  • Raw Material & Packaging Supply Agreements

  • Equipment Purchase & Lease Agreements

  • Product Purchase, Sale, and Supply Agreements

The firm offers a collegial environment, strong client development support, and cross-office collaboration.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 7+ years of relevant commercial contracts experience
  • Portable book of business required
  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to handle a broad portfolio of contracts work

Compensation Range:

Base salary: $200,000 – $325,000 (dependent on experience, location, and other factors)
Additional compensation: Bonus potential plus full benefits package
