A nationally recognized corporate practice is seeking a Capital Markets Associate with 5–6 years of sophisticated experience to join its high-performing team in one of its major U.S. offices. This is an opportunity to work at the center of complex, high-value transactions alongside respected dealmakers advising leading public and private companies, institutional investors, and boards of directors.
The Opportunity
This role is designed for an associate who thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments and is ready to take on meaningful responsibility in headline-making transactions. You will play a key role in structuring and executing a broad range of capital markets offerings while partnering directly with senior attorneys and clients on strategic matters.
You will work on:

Public offerings and private placements of equity and debt securities

IPOs and follow-on offerings

Debt capital markets transactions

Securities compliance and Exchange Act reporting

Corporate governance advisory matters

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:

5–6 years of capital markets experience in a law firm setting

Substantial experience with public and private securities offerings
-
Strong familiarity with Exchange Act reporting and corporate governance
-
Excellent academic credentials
-
Admission to, and good standing with, the bar in the state of intended practice
-
A JD and previous experience working in a law firm (required)
This role is well-suited for a commercially minded associate seeking to deepen their capital markets expertise within a nationally respected platform.
Compensation: Competitive market compensation. In New York, the anticipated base salary range is $225,000–$445,000, commensurate with experience, plus comprehensive benefits.
