Location: Washington, D.C.
A leading international law firm is seeking a 3rd–5th year Associate to join its Antitrust, Consumer Protection & Unfair Competition practice (Multiple Locations). This is an exceptional opportunity to work on sophisticated antitrust litigation, regulatory counselling and competition matters within a nationally recognised practice group.
The role offers exposure to high-stakes antitrust disputes, government investigations and strategic counselling matters, while providing significant responsibility and direct interaction with clients and senior practitioners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in complex antitrust litigation matters
- Advise clients on antitrust compliance and competition issues
- Conduct legal research and analyse sophisticated antitrust questions
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs and other substantive filings
- Support government investigations and regulatory proceedings
- Collaborate with clients to develop practical, business-oriented solutions
- Work closely with cross-office teams on national and international matters
Who You Are:
- 3rd–5th year associate
- Experience in antitrust litigation and counselling
- Background from an Am Law 100 firm, the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice or the Federal Trade Commission
- Strong oral advocacy and legal writing skills
- Excellent academic credentials from a top-tier law school
- Judicial clerkship experience is a plus
- Experience with HSR counselling and/or Second Request investigations is a plus
- J.D. from an accredited law school
Compensation:Salary Range: $260,000 – $365,000 (DOE)
