A leading international law firm is seeking a Cyber, Data & Privacy Associate to join its growing US practice. The group comprises more than 30 attorneys globally dedicated to privacy, cybersecurity and data matters and advises an exceptional client base spanning emerging and high-growth companies, major technology businesses, financial institutions, life sciences companies, public companies and national media organizations. The role offers a particularly broad practice encompassing privacy and cybersecurity counseling, transactional support, incident preparedness and response, regulatory investigations and litigation, providing associates with significant client exposure and the opportunity to develop across both advisory and contentious matters.

Candidates should have four to seven years of relevant experience gained within a leading law firm and/or sophisticated in-house environment. The practice is particularly interested in attorneys with experience advising on CCPA, CPRA, GDPR and broader US and international privacy compliance; cybersecurity and privacy due diligence in corporate transactions; data processing agreements and privacy provisions in commercial and technology transactions; and data breach response and incident response planning. Candidates should be comfortable engaging directly with clients and taking ownership of significant matters and projects.

Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school are required, together with excellent analytical, drafting and communication skills and a demonstrated interest in building a sophisticated Cyber, Data & Privacy practice.
