Senior Real Estate Associate/Partner Attorney

Senior Real Estate Associate/Partner

Fort Lauderdale, Florida | 5–8 Years’ Experience

A sophisticated commercial real estate practice is seeking a Senior Real Estate Associate to join its Fort Lauderdale team. This is an opportunity for an experienced attorney to step into a highly visible role handling complex transactions with substantial responsibility and direct client interaction.

The position is particularly well suited to a senior associate who has developed broad commercial real estate capabilities and is looking for greater autonomy, stronger client relationships, and a platform for continued progression.

The Role

The successful candidate will advise clients across a range of sophisticated commercial real estate transactions, with particular emphasis on:

  • Acquisitions and dispositions
  • Commercial real estate financing
  • Leasing transactions
  • Drafting and negotiating complex transaction documents
  • Managing significant components of transactions from initial structuring through closing
  • Coordinating with clients, counterparties, lenders, and other advisers
  • Providing practical advice on the commercial and legal issues arising throughout transactions

The role offers the opportunity to become an integral member of an established real estate practice rather than simply providing execution support on individual matters.

The Opportunity

Senior associates will have meaningful responsibility for sophisticated matters and regular interaction with clients. The environment supports attorneys who can exercise independent judgment, take ownership of their work, and contribute to the broader development of the practice.

For an experienced real estate attorney seeking to establish a longer-term practice in South Florida, this position provides the opportunity to combine complex transactional work with increased autonomy and visibility.

Candidate Profile

Candidates should have 5–8 years of substantive commercial real estate experience, including significant experience with dispositions, financing, and leasing.

Applicants should possess excellent drafting and negotiation skills, strong commercial judgment, and the ability to manage sophisticated transactions with a high degree of independence.

Candidates must have a JD and previous experience working in a law firm. Strong academic credentials are required, together with active membership in The Florida Bar.

The successful attorney will be comfortable working directly with clients and taking significant responsibility for complex commercial real estate matters.
