Location: Silicon Valley, CA
A leading technology-focused law firm is seeking a 4+ year Securities Litigation Associate to join its highly regarded litigation practice, with a preference for candidates based in San Francisco or Silicon Valley. Other office locations will also be considered.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigator to work on sophisticated securities disputes within a practice advising leading technology and life sciences companies, investors and executives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in complex securities litigation matters
- Conduct sophisticated legal research and analysis
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs and other substantive legal filings
- Manage discovery and key aspects of complex litigation
- Assist with depositions, hearings and trial preparation
- Develop litigation strategies alongside partners and senior attorneys
- Work directly with clients on sophisticated securities disputes
- Collaborate with attorneys across offices on complex matters
Who You Are:
- 4+ years of relevant litigation experience
- Securities litigation experience
- Superior academic credentials
- Excellent legal research and writing skills
- Strong oral advocacy and communication abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage sophisticated matters within a fast-paced practice
- Admitted in the state of the relevant office, or eligible to sit for or waive into the applicable Bar
Compensation:
Salary Range: $310,000 – $435,000 (DOE)
