Location: Miami, FL
A leading global law firm is seeking a 3rd+ year Associate to join its Trial & Litigation practice in Miami. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on sophisticated commercial litigation and arbitration matters for national and international clients while gaining meaningful courtroom experience and significant responsibility.
The successful candidate will work alongside highly regarded trial lawyers on complex disputes involving trials, arbitrations and final hearings in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in sophisticated commercial litigation and arbitration matters
- Assist in managing cases through all stages of litigation, from inception through trial or final hearing
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs and other substantive legal filings
- Conduct legal research and develop strategic litigation positions
- Manage written discovery and document production
- Support trial preparation, witness preparation and courtroom proceedings
- Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop practical and creative litigation strategies
- Work on complex domestic and international disputes across a broad range of industries
Who You Are:
- 3+ years of commercial litigation and/or arbitration experience
- Experience with trials and/or final hearings preferred
- Strong legal research, writing and oral advocacy skills
- Experience handling discovery in complex litigation matters
- Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Top academic credentials, including graduation from a top-tier law school or outstanding class ranking
- Federal judicial clerkship experience is a plus
- Interest in international disputes is advantageous
- Admitted to the Florida Bar or eligible for admission
