A leading global law firm is seeking a 3rd–5th year Associate to join its Financial Services practice in San Francisco or Silicon Valley. This is an exceptional opportunity to represent Fortune 100 companies, leading technology businesses and life sciences clients in sophisticated securities litigation, regulatory investigations and high-stakes enforcement matters.
The role offers significant responsibility, outstanding mentorship and the opportunity to work on some of the most complex securities disputes in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in securities class actions, shareholder derivative suits and complex commercial litigation
- Advise clients in securities-related investigations and regulatory enforcement matters
- Support advocacy before federal and state regulators to minimise enforcement actions
- Assist with internal, government and regulatory investigations
- Draft motions, briefs and other substantive court filings
- Conduct legal research and develop strategic litigation positions
- Work closely with clients on sophisticated securities disputes and regulatory issues
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex, high-profile matters
Who You Are:
- 3rd–5th year associate
- Securities litigation experience gained at a leading law firm
- Experience handling securities disputes, investigations or regulatory enforcement matters
- Strong analytical, research and legal writing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding academic credentials
- Active California Bar admission
Compensation:
Salary Range: $260,000 – $390,000 (DOE)
