An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a talented Mergers & Acquisitions Associate to join a premier corporate transactions practice advising some of the world’s most innovative companies. This role is ideal for an attorney with a strong foundation in M&A who is looking to work on market-leading transactions involving cutting-edge businesses across the technology and life sciences sectors.
Working alongside highly regarded dealmakers, you will play a key role in sophisticated strategic transactions while gaining significant client exposure, responsibility, and a clear path for long-term career development.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on public and private company mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic corporate transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate definitive transaction agreements and related deal documentation.
- Conduct and manage legal due diligence throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Prepare and coordinate disclosure schedules and supporting transaction materials.
- Collaborate with specialist legal teams to deliver seamless transaction execution.
- Assist in managing complex deal processes from initial negotiations through closing.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering commercially focused legal advice.
- Work closely with senior attorneys on sophisticated, high-value domestic and cross-border transactions.
What We’re Looking For
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Previous experience working in a law firm is essential.
- Between 3–5 years of mergers and acquisitions experience.
- Demonstrated experience serving as a core member of transaction teams on complex M&A matters.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills, particularly involving definitive transaction agreements.
- Experience managing due diligence processes and coordinating multidisciplinary deal teams.
- Outstanding academic credentials.
- Excellent analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- A proactive, collaborative mindset with the ability to manage multiple fast-paced transactions.
