An exceptional opportunity is available for a talented Real Estate Associate Attorney to join a nationally recognised law firm with a market-leading real estate practice. This role is ideal for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated, high-value transactions while collaborating with experienced practitioners on some of the industry’s most complex and rewarding matters.
This position offers exposure to a broad range of commercial real estate work across multiple asset classes, providing an outstanding platform for continued professional growth and long-term career advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on complex commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions.
- Represent lenders and borrowers in construction and permanent financing transactions.
- Draft and negotiate joint venture agreements and related transaction documents.
- Handle portfolio transactions involving a variety of commercial real estate assets.
- Advise on REITs, real estate funds, and equity investment structures.
- Assist with entity formation, transaction structuring, and investment strategies.
- Work across a diverse range of asset classes, including residential, industrial, office, retail, hospitality, and land developments.
- Collaborate closely with partners and clients to deliver practical, commercial legal solutions.
What We’re Looking For
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Previous experience working in a law firm is essential.
- Between 3–6 years of commercial real estate transactional experience.
- Strong experience with acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint ventures, and commercial real estate transactions.
- Experience with portfolio transactions, real estate investment vehicles, and complex ownership structures is highly desirable.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding academic credentials.
- A proactive, team-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple sophisticated matters and develop strong client relationships.
