A leading Am Law 50 firm is seeking a patent litigation associate to join its nationally recognised Intellectual Property Practice Group in Washington, D.C. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a cross-office team handling sophisticated patent disputes for leading technology companies, including semiconductor manufacturers, streaming platforms, and high-growth startups. Associates will gain significant responsibility on complex matters while working within a collaborative environment that emphasises mentorship and professional development.

Candidates should have two to six years of patent litigation experience, including meaningful exposure to motion practice, discovery, and broader case strategy. Experience handling district court litigation and working on high-technology patent disputes is highly desirable. The successful candidate will possess strong legal writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills, together with the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment and manage complex matters effectively.

Applicants should have excellent academic credentials and a strong technical background. Degrees in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or a closely related technical discipline are preferred.
