A leading international law firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Technology Transactions Group in New York. The role focuses on sophisticated technology and intellectual property transactions, advising emerging companies and established enterprises on complex commercial arrangements involving software, cloud services, intellectual property licensing, technology transfers, distribution agreements, and artificial intelligence-related deployments and counseling. Associates will work closely with clients on cutting-edge technology matters while providing commercially focused and pragmatic legal advice.

Candidates should have three to five years of experience in technology transactions, with significant exposure to drafting and negotiating complex licensing and commercial agreements. Experience advising on software licensing, SaaS arrangements, cloud hosting, content licensing, strategic partnerships, technology development, and AI-related transactions is strongly preferred. Exposure to transactional privacy, regulatory compliance, and the evolving legal framework surrounding artificial intelligence systems would be advantageous. Strong drafting skills, commercial judgment, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment are essential.
