Location: Pittsburgh, PA
A leading global law firm is seeking a 2nd–4th year Associate to join its Insurance Recovery & Counseling practice in Pittsburgh. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly specialised policyholder-side insurance coverage practice handling sophisticated coverage disputes and complex recovery matters.
The role offers significant responsibility, direct client exposure and the opportunity to work closely with experienced partners within a collaborative and growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent policyholders in complex insurance coverage litigation and arbitrations
- Analyse and interpret sophisticated insurance policies, endorsements and exclusions
- Advise clients on insurance recovery strategy and coverage issues
- Draft coverage analyses, pleadings and substantive legal memoranda
- Support litigation and arbitration matters across a range of industries
- Work directly with clients on high-stakes insurance disputes
Who You Are:
- 2nd–4th year associate
- Experience representing policyholders in insurance coverage matters
- Background in complex insurance recovery litigation and/or arbitrations
- Strong analytical, drafting and communication skills
- Strong academic credentials
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Collaborative, professional and proactive
- Admitted to the relevant State Bar or eligible for prompt admission
