A highly regarded national law firm is seeking a talented Real Estate Senior Associate to join its expanding Denver-based real estate practice. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney looking to take on sophisticated transactional work, gain substantial client exposure, and play a meaningful role within a collaborative and nationally connected team.

The successful candidate will work on a broad range of complex commercial real estate matters, including real estate finance transactions, joint ventures, acquisitions and dispositions, and other high-value transactional matters for institutional and regional clients. Attorneys in this group work closely with experienced partners on impactful deals while benefiting from strong mentorship, hands-on training, and clear opportunities for long-term career growth.

This role is particularly attractive for attorneys currently practicing in major financial markets who are interested in relocating to Denver without sacrificing the sophistication or scale of their work. The platform offers consistent cross-office collaboration and exposure to nationally significant transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent lenders and borrowers in sophisticated real estate finance transactions
  • Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, joint venture agreements, and related transaction documents
  • Manage commercial real estate transactions from inception through closing with appropriate supervision
  • Collaborate directly with partners and clients on strategic transactional matters
  • Support clients across a range of commercial real estate and development-related matters

Qualifications

  • JD from an accredited law school
  • 5–7 years of commercial real estate transactional experience within a law firm environment
  • Strong experience handling real estate finance and general commercial real estate transactions
  • Experience with joint ventures and acquisitions/dispositions preferred
  • Exposure to land use and development matters is a plus
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
  • Strong academic credentials required
  • Admission to the Colorado Bar, or ability to waive in, preferred
