A well-established national law firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate with 3–5 years of experience to join its growing commercial real estate practice in Atlanta.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with strong transactional experience who is looking to work on sophisticated real estate matters involving acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and development projects. The role offers significant client exposure and the opportunity to advise developers, owners, and investors on complex, high-value transactions across a broad range of asset classes.
The successful candidate will join a collaborative and entrepreneurial team that handles sophisticated commercial real estate work and offers a strong platform for long-term growth and advancement.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Represent developers, owners, and investors in complex commercial real estate transactions
- Structure, negotiate, and close acquisitions, dispositions, and development deals
- Advise clients on financing arrangements, loan structures, and related transactional matters
- Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, financing documents, leases, and development agreements
- Conduct due diligence, title and survey review, and risk analysis in connection with transactions
- Work closely with clients and internal teams to drive transactions efficiently from inception through closing
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of commercial real estate transactional experience in a law firm environment
- Strong experience representing developers, owners, or investors in sophisticated real estate deals
- Deep understanding of real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and development transactions
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple active transactions
- Commercially minded with strong client-facing communication skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) required
- Previous experience working in a law firm is required
- Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (Georgia preferred)
