A prominent and fast-growing legal practice is seeking a Real Estate Associate to join its expanding San Diego office. This opportunity is ideal for a junior-to-mid-level attorney looking to build on a strong transactional foundation while gaining hands-on experience in sophisticated commercial real estate matters.

The successful candidate will work on a broad range of complex transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, debt and equity financings, and joint venture structures across a variety of asset classes and industries. This role offers meaningful involvement in high-value transactions, direct client interaction, and the ability to take on substantial responsibility early.

Attorneys in this role will collaborate closely with senior practitioners on deal strategy, structuring, negotiation, and execution, while benefiting from strong mentorship and professional development. The practice is highly active, entrepreneurial, and designed for attorneys who are eager to sharpen their transactional skills and accelerate their career growth.

Candidate Requirements:

  • JD required
  • Must have prior experience working in a law firm
  • 3–4 years of commercial real estate transactional experience
  • Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and joint venture transactions
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong academic credentials and legal writing ability
  • Admission to the California Bar required
